History

Banque pour le Commerce et l'Industrie - Mali SA (BCI-MALI SA) is a public limited company with a capital of 22 billion CFA francs. Its head office is located in the Baldé building in Hamdallaye, Bamako, Mali.

Founded on January 13, 2007, BCI-MALI SA is the first expansion of the BCI Group, headquartered in Nouakchott, in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. This banking institution has established its presence with 13 agencies distributed as follows: eight in the heart of Bamako, five in other regions of Mali, as well as a branch located in Senegal (BCI Sénégal) with soon to be 4 agencies. Together with its branches in Senegal, Guinea and Mauritania, BCI MALI contributes to the West African development of the BCI Group.

Mission

BCI-MALI SA's mission is to support economic development players by building a solid capacity for commercial innovation, backed by a technological infrastructure that meets the needs of its customers.

Our objectives are as follows:

  • Resource mobilization: focus on mobilizing resources to generate value and offer customized financing.
  • Economic integration: Stimulate further economic integration by facilitating trade between Mauritania, Mali, Guinea, Senegal and all WAEMU member countries.
  • Proximity policy: Develop a local approach based on a diversified strategy: bank branches, electronic payment solutions and online banking services.
  • Quality products and services: Offering a first-class range of banking products and services for all market players: individuals, professionals, government, public and semi-public entities.
  • Increase the number of people with access to banking services: Expand access to banking services among the Malian population.
